Rehearsals for E Pluribus Unum II picked up for the company shortly after their run of I Promise. Weise continued consultations in fundraising, marketing and venue management for SDW as they navigated developing a new work with multiple collaborators.
“E Pluribus Unum II is a dance inspired by collaboration and interpretation of the emotive architecture rooted in William Forsythe’s Improvisation Technologies. This work was the company’s first collaborative project with acclaimed soloist, international guest artist and former Forsythe dancer Elizabeth Corbett and builds from the mentorship with me as my teacher, choreographer and mentor.”
